    Default Geelong Revival - 25 & 26th November2017

    Hi there Fellow Froggers.

The Geelong Revival is now 22 days away, so I'm asking who's going ? Would like to say Hi to as many as I can and feeling that since RENAULT is sponsoring we will probably catch up around the RENAULT marque.
My intention was to run 'BARNIE' this year but health has put me on the back foot, so maybe next year (I hope!)
If anybody reading this was contemplating going, stop contemplating and definitely go, you will have a ball.
Hope to see you there, can't wait so see the RENAULT AUSTRALIA entry rip up that esplanade.
    Cheers for now

    Hi Phil,
My entry has been accepted and I know of quite a few others.
There's also a Hillclimb event that should have some Renault runners within walking distance of the sprint track.
There will also be an RCCV display.
I agree it's a fabulous event and highly encourage people to come down for a look.
Here's the link for all the events http://geelongrevival.com.au/wp/

    See you soon.

    Hi Paul, Phil
I am too a confirmed starter for the 26th - sprint only, not hillclimb.
I note Brian says he will also be there.
Hope to see as many other fellow froggers too on the day.
    Cheers

I am going, as a scrutineer not a competitor.

I'll be there as a competitor in my A110 in both the hillclimb and sprint. Should be fun.

Colin Stark is running his Dauphine this year, leaving the A110 at home.

Gents. Just a heads up it looks like the Classic Renaults are split over both days. I've been shifted to Saturday and I believe David Bertuch is the same.
Bit of a shame we aren't all running together.

That is a shame Paul, I just checked and I am definitely listed for Sunday.
It would have been nice to have all the Renaults together, but I am sure it will still be a great weekend.

    Hi All,

It sounds like this is a major annual event. So for an outsider's point of view and just being curious to see something more about it, will there be a car with incar camera participating?

Based on comments in the posts this event consist of a hillclimb and sprint. The hillclimb, how long is it or what are the average times for a well tuned old school Gordini or R12? And the same question for the sprint.

    Regards, Frans

    It's only recently been restarted.

But It's growing from year to year it seems. The courses are not that long.

Also I've put a case to the organisers to have me run on the Sunday. Let's see how I go.

great news Paul, it didn't make sense considering the uniqueness of your car.
