    Default Fuego Air Filter Case

I have a Fuego GTX parts car and I noticed that it has a different (factory) air filter lid than the other GTXs I've seen over the years. It has 2 extra thin rubber hoses coming out of the top. One is a short hose that feeds back into a small hole in the lid and the other is a longer hose that connected to something else. All the UK spec and Australian spec GTXs I've seen have always had a plain lid.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Thanks Jo. Is there any issues putting it onto a later model? Do the holes have to be blocked up?
    Cheers

You should be able to answer that question by looking at the flow of air through the filter and working out if the holes are on the dirty or clean side.
From memory the dirty air gets sucked up the middle of the filter, travels through the paper element and then gets sucked into the motor from the perimeter of the canister.

If the holes are on the outer part of the can (lid) closer to the perimeter, you'll need to block them, or dirty air will be ingested into the clean air stream.
