    Default What are the chances?

Earlier today I was sitting in a cafe in Playne Street, Frankston when this tidy mustard coloured R12 Estate parks outside and the owner goes off about his business. As I'm leaving 20 minutes later a mustard coloured R12 saloon tootles up Playne St from the opposite direction and parks outside the post office. The elderly driver of the saloon was oblivious to the estate parked opposite. Both cars, I believe we're on full Reg and appeared to be daily drivers. A coincidence like that might have been fairly common 30 years ago, but in 2017, what's the odds. I should have bought a Tats ticket.

Even trying to arrange for two mustard coloured 12's to be in the same place at the same time would seem to be impossible. For it to just happen at random, astronomical odds these days.

I haven't seen an R12 for at least 2 years, including French Car Days, in Perth. Such good vehicles.

I just love how it's parked at the post office, like a horse doing the rounds, where else would a 12 be.

The coincidental composition of that pic is excellent. The red car beside the wagon, the yellow and red post boxes and the red Aus Post sign.

Even rarer is the fact that it's in Melbourne and it's not raining!

It would be even rarer still if it was raining in Bris and we wish it would rain, just ocassionally.

very similar model years, but I guess that is determined by the colour, not just by the rubber overriders , grille, seats etc. The sedan looks like an XL.
