Default Windscreen wiper system rebuild R17

with all this rain about in WA, the wipers are getting a workout.
But they are doing a dance all over the screen. The shudder, a shimmy which makes me think the bushes are shagged. There must be some worn out parts.
    Are there parts for these?
And what advice could be offered re: rebuilding these arms, bushes, etc.

Also these motors are very slow and getting a down pour is not what I call fun when driving and have it up on second/high speed. Second speed is more like a first speed.
    Any suggestions?

I'll bet they were on high speed.
Delvene Delaney probably made them go faster just by being in the front seat.

There has been a story about this problem some where else on here, when some one couldn't get their R17 roadworthy because the wipers were too slow.

That's an annoying mechanic who worries about that.

Truth be told, at speed, with rainX my wipers are not used.

    OK. Forget the slowwwwww problem.

What about the slaved out bushes. I checked the arms 12 months ago and they could do with some work.
    Any suggestions?

Why do I feel someone swapped the whole system over with a pair of Toyota yaris electric motors?

They are nippy little cars though! 4wd models in Japan for the icy roads.

If they did, they wouldn't have the problem. Incidentally, the Prius/Camry wiper motor fits and it is strong enough not only to run properly, but it will shake the car on high speed.

Really? and the connectors? Is this first hand knowledge Schlitzaugen?
And by the way, bought some of that clear orange model paint from a great shop here in Mandurah. You would like it. Works a treat. Thanks again Schlitzaugen.

Shudder and shimmy normally can be fixed by new rubbers, not the $1.20 per kilometre variety and

    Cleaning the windscreen throughly

Not cheap, but I've found the Bosch graphitic rubber blades quite superb on the Scenics, and they are big windscreens prone to judder.

But they are graphite looking. I could have bought some good ones. I can't remember.

I also have been checking the system and found the drivers wiper arm is loose on the stub. I think the arms socket maybe worn.
    I'll have a look
