You won't cause you'd miss all us nice Reno folk too much. Plus you can buy anything for a Ford, how boring would that be.

    Yeah, I know, but it's a good-looking saloon, isn't it!

No idea re that loop. Handbrake cable maybe? Footbrake cable? Pity I didn't notice, as I could have gone and looked!

It took a while but I think I have figured this out, reading some of the French vintage car sites it seems it is the done thing to convert these old cable operated braking systems to hydraulic brakes. I conclude that this is the case with this magnificent and heavy Nervasport.

Fitting hydraulic brakes on the Nervasport makes a lot of sense. I still want it too..... What a glorious car.

Zero, I'd say. I imagine they made few of them in the first place (hundreds or maybe a few thousand, is my complete guess) and then the only ones left by 1945 would have been those hidden from the Germans. I think many big cars taken by army officers in France ended up on the Russian Front. There was a thread here somewhere in the Peugeot forum showing those cars in Russia.

I reckon it is a magnificent machine, even with side-valves! And nearly 6-litres means lots of torque.
