Were back in business....I can measure speed once more....

Thanks Ren, Simon, KB, Col, JohnW and more for all the great help. Sometimes it takes a village!

Strangely, getting to the back of the speedo head to remove the dead cable is the most difficult step - very small space to work in...yet installing the replacement seemed much easier. Spatial awareness changes with experience?

    But once is enough!

Always keep the two ends of the cable, many people can easily replace the cable but need the ends.

Knowing revs for speed was always useful for travelling interstate not to use up km's on any vehicle in the good old days
