    Default 20 ts

If this is in the wrong place please delete.
I have a '83 20 TS which is not going to get
the attention it deserves so it has to go or I will
    suffer some serious injury.
It is needing someone with electrical no how,
(not serious) The body seems to be rust free except
for a small bit on the rear wheel arch. The car is too
good for the scrappie but I have no idea what would
be a fair price so am open to reasonable offers or ideas
    on which way to go.
    Cheers Duffster.

Was the 20 closer to the 16 or the 18 / Feugeo?

You can imagine where I'm going with this...

And the 20ts have the 2l fug/pug ohc engine? But still mounted to an NG1.. ?

The 20 was the successor to the 16 and the base model had the 1647cc motor out of the 16TX I believe. At least in Europe anyway. The 20TS came out in 1982 and had the 1995cc OHC "Douvrin" engine which was also in some early CX models.

So you might be able to slot a 20TS donk into something like a Fuego without too much trouble. Or at least use the parts.

PS. According to that "irrefutable" source Wikipedia, the 1995cc Douvrin was used in the 20TS and the Fuego as well as the 18, 21, and Pug 505. Obviously in several variants.

The 20 sits out by itself, as it shares very little with either the 16, 18 or Fuego. Different suspension, different brakes even different stud patterns for the wheels. With the 20TS, the motor runs a higher compression than the same motor in the AUS spec Fuego GTX, also the 20TS has either a 367 four-speed (early), 369 five-speed (late), or 4141 automatic, rather than the NG 'boxes of the Fuego

Why not add a parts car. This one was obviously loved at some stage to get the number plates ....

With new piston rings they go really well.
None of the elec issues the R25 have.
