When I first read your post I thought the car was in Little Hampton lol. So I then thought it could of been my Dads old R16. But not to be. I'm not sure where his R16 is now probably scrap cos he sold his to a guy in Semaphore in 2002 but it was in general condition then. This one looks in OK condition for its age but too far away for me to check out properly.

You never know, your Dad's could still be around somewhere. I see my old R12 Virage come up on Gumtree every now and then, looking slightly more weathered each time. The owner didn't end up doing anything with it If I had the room and surplus funds, I'd buy it back being the sentimental duffer I am

I should of bought my dads way back when but it was going to cost a fortune bringing it across to the west by train....I think we all like to keep things for sentimental reasons

Ages ago I had two Avoca(r)do 12s at the same time, even then I thought it was a pretty dodgy colour. Perhaps that was why both cars were cheap to buy (even though the later acquired "RentA" had a worn clutch and odd coloured guard), as otherwise they were both great cars.

The one my dad had was a mixture of both colours. Sage and avocado green....apparently when it went into the panel shop they got confused when choosing the colour. Back quarter was Sage while front half still had original avocado .
