    Beautiful car. Love the wheels!

Has anyone got a rag? I just need to give the rocker cover a quick wipe
    cheers,

Clean up the mating surfaces and replace the rubber or cork/rubber ring and they are fine.

There are a lot of pipes but I cannot clearly see whether there is a vacuum applied to the breathing pipes. If so it is via a small pipe. Back pressure under competition conditions might, I said might, be the problem. I once drove an R10 that had the vacuum pipe from the tappet cover kinked and it spewed oil out of the timing cover seal. Once the kink was removed all was ok. I have also seen a dip stick pushed out of the tube by about an inch and oil drops blow out through that.

I also found I had to bend the two tabs as well to help get a seal
