Default New Clios - master cylinder problems ?

Reading the Carsguide June 24th edition and online:
Leaking brake fluid in Clio: Ask 'The Guide' - CarsGuide
There seems to be issues with master cylinders leaking.
Any froggers out there with similar experiences?

I wonder if its tied to the production facility. Sports are made in France I think, the rest in Turkey.

It was due to a cap that was not tightened properly.

The guy has to learn to use the GO pedal, rather than the STOP pedal

In April my Renault Clio was towed away because the brake fluid was so low that a brake system fault appeared on my display the second time this fault has appeared. The fix was to use the same master cylinder cap, tighten it to a certain tension and then respray the engine bay where the brake fluid had taken the paint off. After 16 days I picked the car up, lifted the bonnet, and it was still leaking. In May a new reservoir from France was fitted and it's still leaking
    .

However, if what he claims is correct, a new master cylinder didn't fix the problem.

Joke all you like, it's not a good look when a car 2016 exhibits such a basic problem and after two tries by the dealer, it 's still not fixed.

Not a good look for Renault or the dealer.

They didn't replace the Master Cylinder - just the reservoir.

It's still leaking from the reservoir so I'd be picking the seal where it attaches to the Master Cylinder is faulty (or the casting where the seal sits is damaged or rough).

That's not what was said in the article nor in the quote in my previous post. I've re-quoted the last sentence below.
In May a new reservoir from France was fitted and it's still leaking

Presumably the car owner is not a complete nong and knows what is going on in his car.

Either way it doesn't reflect well on the dealer/ marque.

    Maybe you need new specs.

    Re-read your own quote.

The master cylinder was not replaced. The Reservoir was replaced.

Turn out the lights when you those types of website or you will develop a permanent squint.

And require spectacles. But you know when to stop.

    I humbly apologize.
