    Icon8 R 25 Drive shaft woes

Today I thought I would look at the returned unfinished drive shafts from the proffi 25 as Joe did make a visit to the vineyard and I felt it was time to start work on the car.

So the shafts where returned from the re manufacturer with the note ( no tooling available for old school drive joints ( the solid shaft three ball type)

Repacked in lovely white boxes that looked promising!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Opened first box out slide the shaft with the inner boot still attached but no joint, ah a plastic bag with the inner spider joint. on opening same I find missing all of the roller bearings on one side. Outer joint follows much the same story missing the thrust button.

Opened the second box out slides the shaft no inner boot oh wait a bit here it is crushed in the bottom of the box Then all of a sudden crash and the outer joint hits the floor followed by the inner joint internals and casing. Missing the thrust button again.

So now Im hoping someone may have some old shafts off a fuego or a 20 or 25 so that I can rebuild my own units. I have new boot kits so all Im after are some internal parts

    Which ones do you need?

I don't know how much shipping is but they are cheap

Which r25 have you got? These would fit a 4 cylinder with the ng3 transmission...

If I had parts returned in such a poor condition I would not be happy! Free of charge or not. Good luck with it. Yours Sincerely Shane
