Would be good! I think Red Bull has a significant tyre use advantage over the other teams, they were pretty cunning with their qualy.

He set his fastest lap in Q2 on Super Soft, so he starts on Super Soft (as opposed to Ultra Soft).

I'm not sure if that will work so well tomorrow.

If the others behind him stop early to force his hand, he might be stuck.with a really long stint on the Ultra Soft.

He could potentially run longer, but at Monaco, track position is king.

I hope it works, but it seems odd.

Rain is likely in the morning. Still a small chance it will be wet at race start, but if it dries it will be a pretty green track (which, again, would suit the Ultra Soft more). If it's fully wet, that all goes out the window of course.

If Daniel runs long, he will be vulnerable to a pace car taking away any advantage and packing up the field behind him when he has to pit.

A 2nd place after a bungled pit stop waiting for tires.

Second Grand Prix in a row that Red Bull have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory for Daniel. He says he feels "screwed". I would too!

They weren't to happy with his language (screwed) I'm surprised that's all he said.

Maybe Daniel will get the bob Jane t mart crew in for the next race ? Can't be any slower , what a shame for him

I was at Monaco on a lotus tour in 2014 and we got pit access after practise through the factory . The Mercedes pit was next door and the pit crew practised tyre changes for 30 minutes when all the other teams had closed shop for the afternoon

Makes you wonder who has been betting on who. It is amazing what a big wad of money can do.

I wonder how many of Dan's pit crew will be working for Toro Rosso next time out.
