I'd say it's been purchased in NSW and shipped over, then re registered in WA

The Green R10 is sold !!!
I bought it today. It was from the east, and I did a lot of work on it to make it good mechanicals, and get it tested over the pits, for the WA owner. So when I saw it this time we negotiated, and it is now mine. It will have a few small changes, and replace my R19 as my every day car. I have a shed load of parts for it so it will last for my time.

Excellent. We'll expect a new thread on the new generation taxi.

KB you laugh, but R10's were used for Taxis in Rhodesia (Zim) as well.

But there will not be much going on in this one to warrant a thread for it. I did all the work on it 2 years ago, and there is only small stuff to do. Classic race style bucket seats, "big 4 speed", and wheels. Lowered suspension, hand built "bilstein" shocks. Dynamat and carpets and tinted windows.

There were bling gutter rails on some of the R8, maybe I should look for some. And bling door handle cups.

Now going into pipe dream time.

Ray, your new daily driver could benefit from a smooth, quiet, efficient and slightly more powerful engine. I'm thinking RS182 Clio powered. You know - think old, run modern

    J-man - John,
Last night I called up Christian's K4M transplant. 1.3-1.4 16 valve seems quite interesting with a "big" 4 speed, and 15" wheels.

    John/Floride,
Yes it is the colour, and it will get a re-spray with it. Only thing is an Alconi flash down the side in white and a white roof, same as my wife's on in Rhodesia. Will keep you guessing as to the wheels.

    ACHTUNG ALLES LOOKENPEEPERS

Might be full of bog and paint to hold it together. No interior pic either
