    Restorers dream!

I've seen that colour before. On the wagon below, but in a bit better condition

I wonder if it will be defiantly sold?

I had exactly the same colour 73 12, loved that car, long since gone. Thankfully this one is in Tassie otherwise I would struggle not to buy it.

Oh please that looks like total junk. Where would you start? every screw and bolt would need to be replaced.

    But the colour is cool

Front right wing looks better than yours.

"suit parts"... I'm curious as to which parts of that car would actually be usable.

That's a bit harsh! What about the front indicator lens with hard to find "moss bling". Who knows what that might be worth alone!
    cheers,

Because the shell looks straight and rust free makes it worthwhile. The roof hopefully is only surface but the bottoms of the 1/4 panels and the windscreen base all look sound. If the shells ok and it was closer I'd be interested.

Who thinks like that, though? Only people who have spent real money on a real restoration.

Shh you OH! Had a call from a man yesterday actually, might have solved that

I suppose there is some sense if the shell is straight true. As I'm finding out panels, are still obtainable. But perhaps I don't have a lot of competition in looking for them.

Standing in a damp field for some considerable time going by the grass growing through the bumper and the moss on the c-pillar vent and front parking light. Gearbox in the boot and clutch plate and driveshafts rusty. Been stripped and put out top grass becasue something important failed

Will take a very brave man to believe there's no structural rust after sitting in the damp. (Tassie does get wet doesn't it). Even if there isn't structural rust just about every bolt-on bit will need work or replacing.

Never get $400 but might get a few bucks back parting it out.
I love the R12's but I can't see this ever getting back on the road.

    Cheers

    And for what?

Nah, it's a poor car that was abandoned by yet another dude who didn't realise it is a thousand times easier to take something apart than to put it back together (in a working condition, not as a piece of art).

Didn't realise it was the same colour as the wagon linked above. I remember that car. This one must be pretty badly faded.

I could be wrong about the colour Schlitzy, it's bound to happen sooner or later ...

You're not wrong. With the Vivid Green trim, Triton Green paint was the only choice.
