Default Formula 1 diecast model 1:24

I got given a diecast model 1:24 scale of the 2004 Alonso F1 car. I have seen it on ebay:

    Hotwheels Renault F1 Team R24 2004 Fernando Alonso H9173 1/24 Excellent/Boxed | eBay

It is still in its box.

Should I keep it this way, or let my 4yo play with it?

It'll probably say on the box somewhere it is a scale model and not a toy suitable for children under 5ish. But if you do let your child play with it, make sure you drop it a few times, roll it through the sandpit, etc, before giving it to them, to break off all the protruding bits that may become choking hazards

Ha. Good answer. I would play with it myself. Wouldn‘t let any rugrats ruin MY toy. Get him another one and race.

Thanks. He's a pretty conservative kid, and the little parts are no dramas. The box says 14+, so I suppose I have to play with it and let him keep the toy Clio Sports...
