    Default R8 Gordini motor

Does anyone have the correct spark plug type for the 1100cc Gordini engine?

Now or then? I'd wager some of the newer designs will work, and work better than original spec.

    Hi,
Cannot remember but what I do remember is the usual one recommended was a racing plug which was a longer reach. Must be used with a spacer or the plug gap was closed up when fitted and NO GO !! Same applies to any longer reach plug than the standard one.

I found Autolite AR3933X to be tops and extremely robust. I am using it in the race car and my street car. Whatever you use, make sure that you have a central burning point. Not like the conventional NGKs unless you turn them so that the earth doesn't point to one of the flame chutes. My worth.

No need for spacers on this one.

Young enough to do it anyway.
