    Default Lozenge Side/Marker lights !!!

I know I have seen the lozenge shaped side marker lights on Renaults, but for the life of me can't remember which models they were on. I have a notion on a Fuego, but have not been able to confirm.

Yep, I have even seen it on R12, but like Simon said, it was many others.

From memory I have seen them on pre 1971 cars.

I have to also confess to throwing a few of these in the scrap bin over the years, Sorry

    Yeah me too.

I never fitted them on the Gordini even though they were standard equip because I thought they were ugly.

Only fitted on R12 and 16 up to 71 in this country.

I'm thinking Mr Gecko is looking for the later diamond shaped lights as used in certain markets (which is what my quoted part number refers to), rather than the earlier trapezoid shaped ones used on the 12 and 16. Hopefully as a replacement for a damaged one on a private import rather than actually fitting onto a car.

More likely from unfamiliarity, the diamond shaped ones just look corny and out of place on the cars they are fitted to.

Don't think so. He mentioned the Renault lozenge. There are repeaters in approximately the diamond shape - I just can't recall which models.

I can't find a single old Renault photo in my collection with a diamond as a repeater. Maybe the 19? Dunno to be honest. Certainly my father's 16TS in about 1969/70 had an orange repeater but not a diamond, not quite rectangular and mounted horizontally.

I'm with Simon - "Mr Gecko" can confirm?

It's a long shot but try the US, they were into that sort of thing (maybe they had no choice).
They has sidelight and repeaters although the sidelights were rectangular and the repeaters were lozenge shaped on the R12's & R16's.
But you might turn up another Renault earlier or later model with diamond shaped light.

    Hi Simon and guys.

Simon's second number worked, and I found a few places that advertised it. They were general use about '73 to '76.

    Have 4 on order.

    Thanks.
