    Default My brothers new toy

Just want to congratulate my brother Steve for finally getting the car of his dreams (and my dreams).

A very special car for a very special person, good on you Steve you deserve it.

The photo is taken in Steve's garage just to prove it really is does exist.

    Three cheers for Steve.
Great to see another of these fine cars in Victoria and I agree there's no more deserving owner than Steve (other than me)
    I've never been in a 110 so here's hoping :-)
Dave you don't need a 110 you've got the Dacia Ute which is even more unique.

Interesting, when sitting in the Alpine looking at the Porsche all you can see is the door. You've got to look up to see the window.

At 6ft 3,1/2 inches there must have been a Alpine 110 conspiracy stopping me from ever entertaining the thought of owning one .
As one of the most successful competition cars in my lifetime and one of the prettiest to boot , I must say congratulations to Steve , making a dream come true . Do I get a free ride for that ??????

    Hi Steve
Great to hear you have joined a small band of A110 owners, fantastic car you have acquired and you will have many good drives ahead of you.

Toolman, I have a guy with an A110 that is well over 6' and I have sorted his seat (Renault Boutique) back and down so he is very comfortable when driving. Getting in and out is a contorting act to be seen, but driving he is very comfy, but only with his "ballet shoes" on.

Wonderful news! Big congrats to Steve. I presume he'll drive it to Griffith in 2017.

Great to have the car owned by such an appreciative family, and by Steve.

I presume he has size 9 shoes or smaller...

Best wishes, that is for sure!

Thank-you to all you well wishes.
I tried to keep it quiet, but with a big mouth brother like that I had no hope, but thanks for the kind words.
As Steve K said, "natural progression from a 750" I'll drink to that
