Default 70th Birthday present. Long live the R8

Straight to the POOL ROOM !!

How about this for a First. Absolutely blew me away.

I wanted to mount it in the kitchen so I could see it every moment but a small voice said Noooooo !!

    Cheers Phil

Those tail lights would be worth a bit too.
Ironic that the photo is time stamped 11:08!

    Happy Birthday Phil

    Happy Birthday.
Are they going to give you a R8 piece for every birthday/christmas/fathers day until you have a whole car?

    Cheers

Happy 70th Phil. What a great idea for a birthday gift. I might send out some hints for my 60th this year.

Thanks Guys for all your well wishes. I actually had about 35 friends around and I had a ball. Mind you, I had the party 1 week after getting back from the Geelong Revival so I was still pumped up about the sprints.

Without a doubt, you have to get yourselves to the Geelong Revival before you kick the bucket, it is the best event, guarantee you will love it. Don't just go there and look, go there and enter, yes it's expensive but you can't take it with you.

Hop onto Google, type in 'Geelong Revival' and follow the web site for a glimps of the action.

Thanks again for your birthday greetings. Looks like I have a valuable rear panel Ha ha.

    Phil

The small voice one can always ignore, it's the loud voice that one ignores at their own peril

No John. It has sentimental value now, mind you it might become part of the final departure box on the big final goodbye day

    Cheers Phil

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the brick & rock wall.
A window, a door way filled in or more like neither, what's the story behind that wall?
