Default Roof racks for 2009 Scenic II

Having purchased a newer car (09 Grand Scenic), whilst there is room for some luggage in the boot with all seats raised for use, we need to get a pod for holidays. We like the look of this pod though am not sure where to start for the racks to put it on.
Any helpful suggestions will be gratefully received! Photos attached to depict the model (picked up with just under 22k kms on it!)...

Rhino make bars and a fitting kit for the Scenic II, or did a year ago when we bought a set for ours. They have four mounts that use the roof rack mounting points already on the Scenic, with the bars separate. Our Scenic isn't as Grand as yours, but the system is adjustable for width and I imagine the mounts are identical.

    Cheers

    Thanks John,

Have done a search - hope to find either that or something at ARB closer to home.

    Cheers,

The fitting kit is DK057, Rhino that is.

    Good luck.

I bought genuine Renault roof racks for our Megane sedan from a supplier in the UK for cheaper than dealer prices here.

I should have thought of that. The Rhino ones were FAR cheaper than those from the local Renault dealer here in Perth. I bought Rhino because of that large price differential and because I thought/think, there was a better chance that the attachments available would fit - not quite sure about the factory bar profile. I should have posted here and asked the question! Thanks for the information - I'll try and remember next time.

The factory one is just a Thule as far as I can tell, its the standard aero profile with the T channel. Paid $290 delivered a couple of years ago, that was for the more expensive alloy racks.

Aerodynamics are interesting though on the sedan at least, they make a horrific drumming harmonic noise without either the kayak holders or a rubber hose wrapped around the front bar to mess up the air flow.
