OK, now a good friend of mine who has a R10S has lost a Hubcap so I'm wondering if there is one R10S hubcap out there that some nice person would be willing to part with
    Many thanks

Phil I may have a full set of the R10S set but not completely sure they came in a bunch of parts I purchased 1 is damaged /dented and another has some marks on it so I would say it is not a complete set .R10 and R10S Hubcaps-1958-dauphine-parts15.jpg

I hope the pictures are clear enough I was also reading the article about the differences and these have the extra few profiles on them .

Hi there Manic GT. Thank you for your reply but I see your location is in ''Southampton Ontario Canada'' and I'm in Adelaide South Australia so this could present a Postage problem.
Leave it with me and I'll see if I can examine the dimensions of the R10S hubcaps and work out which hub cap is which. Thanks again for your reply, Phil

Going by the pic - maybe he has only one, and would appreciate the opportunity to have a full set of none?

He looks a bit shifty to me, call the cops, I reckon he stole that car...
Every day when I wake up I reach up in the darkness with my eyes shut and if I cannot feel anything that resembles a wooden lid I know it will be a good day. No lid today.

I hope you're not confusing your R10s for an R8 MrG

I can confirm he only has three, I walked around his car twice.

    My mistake, as you were.

    Nothing to see here.

    Hi Phil,

I have a spare hubcap I'm willing to part with. I sent info and a pic via text message.

    Cheers Anthony

Just for info purposes, those are late model Dauphine hubcaps. The 10S (and mid 1970-1974 16) hubcaps were a unique Australian design, part of Australian local content. It wouldn't surprise me if they were actually sourced from a saucepan lid factory.

OK, thanks Anthony. now I know what I'm after. I think they are a bit different to the normal R10 hubcap. Bit hard to tell the difference by a photo. Simon's probably right about a saucepan manufacturer.
    Cheers Phil

    Phil,
You'd have to see the cap on a wheel to tell if it is the right one - to match the rear one on the photo I posted.
Anthony should know if it is genuine however.

The one i posted a picture of above to my understanding is a genuine 10S hubcap.

Our direct experience is that Canada Post is reliable but much slower than US Post. It wasn't remotely what we expected! Reliable yes, slow NO.
