Bet it not running 6 volts with all those lights.
Not that I'm aware of. I heard of kits being available sometime in the past too but none of the suppliers I know in France have advertised them in my time. It would be fun.
I saw TWO Mokes yesterday in Perth, reminding me that you can have that sort of fun already!Normally it is about one per year.

Hi,
Here is a nice looking decapotable in France for 29,000 Euros. They must be scarce there also.

It's always interesting looking at restored 4CV's. As they covered a large production range with many differences through the years, it seems harder to find examples that are entirely true to the year. Not that it bothers me, but this little gem seems to have the very early dash, but slightly later number plate panel and rear lights, battery located with the engine as per late models, early 6 whisker grille but late front guards without the vent in the guards behind the number plate, which is where the horn sits behind on early models and a Dauphine engine! Overall it looks lovely to me![]()
cheers,
John
...yep it looks like the cat's whiskers.

It's a neat car, if a bitser.
The last of the R1060 models might have had that number plate holder - my early R1062 (November 1950, it is said...) is the same at the back.
I hadn't noticed the lack of that grill to let the horn noise out.![]()
Be interesting to see whether it has a BP3 or a 289 transmission.

I reckon that is a neat and all-together looking car as well. And guessing with the Dauphine motor, it would also likely have a matching Dauphine 'box. Also it looks like an 8 volt battery, I've not seen one of those for years.

The early cars had a gearknob that was very like the vent knob. However it had a flatter top than the one in the car, which looks like a scaled down early VW item. So, it is similar to my 1951 knob but not the same.

Very nice Roger. Those fine white lines on the sidewalls have worked SO well too.

Looks like something that Noddy and Big Ears would be driving.

The January 2016 edition(bit ahead of itself) of the English Classic & sports car mag has a feature on the 4l international at Thenay.
Plenty of nice pictures of Quatrelles.
Also has buying guide for cx's, mag is a bit dear to buy but worth leafing through.
