    Yeah nice one. I had no idea they were so successful. I didn't quite get the details though, are the body panels fibreglass? Is that what they mean by 'polyester'?

    patpug,
    The main structure is made in 2 parts. There is a monocoque glass fibre shell (body) and a steel "backbone" chassis. The 2 are laminated in places with layers of glass fibre to join them into one strong light weight structure.

    Nice link - the changing images are a bit annoying but some are worth the wait! Love the new Alpine, the one with the 60 on the side. Is that a concept car?
