    Default Lovely 12 on Carsales

This appears to be a nice tidy original looking 12 at a reasonable price

Hmm! I remember what happened when people imagined-up a car on Fleabay (the green one).

At least with the car Kenny is selling (in Ringwood) it's a very clear WYSIWYG and the price is decent.

As Col says, they are correct, the car being a 12GL. The owner has tried value adding, by painting the normally black GL wheels silver frost (note the silver painted valve on the spare). My guess is that it is a late 1975 build car.

    That's exactly what I thought.

    What a cutie!

The engine bay pictures however are missing. That would probably qualify the car better. And the numbers, of course.

For $12000 I'd want a set of Mistareno's Cibie spot light covers included.

Gee it looks pretty good , especially dash etc. Probably worth the money depending on rust etc. You would have to refinish the wheels and get some hub caps tp bring back to original

Just my luck, a month ago I would have jumped on this, I was up in Queensland too!
But I'm flying out to Hawaii this weekend and then it's the bathroom renovations, I hope it's still available in about 5 weeks time.

Wow! Two to choose from! I reckon by the time we get back from Hawaii and we have the new bathroom done, the missus will be in a pretty good mood and my chances of me being allow to acquire an R12 toy will be pretty good!

The daughter of a friend of mine reached 16 and has enough saved to buy a car and found the R12 here on Gum tree and wanted it. Father who is a mechanic and into cars went to look at it and agreed looked like new through out. Not being a Reno man he was really impressed how well the R12 actually went. Unusual for a young girl to want a 40 year old car but I guess it is different. They are great first car for a girl too and actually they go well.
