    Default 4CV Chromework Wanted

Went to visit my 4CV at the menders yesterday. Slow progress as he knows it's not a priority, and more urgent stuff comes in all the time 'cos he's bloody good and bloody cheap.
Anyhow, I gently reminded him that I'm not getting any younger and would like the opportunity to drive it other than to my funeral.
He presented me with two VERY motheaten chrome side strips from under the doors.
Can I get new ones, or would it be better to get another talented mate to fabricate them from stainless steel??
All advice and comments welcome and appreciated.
    Merci.

It is a great link with some nice parts but I couldn't see the parts that I think exvet is chasing
I'm guessing it's the piece that runs along the length of the sill panels that usually rusts.
    cheers,

    John

    Hi
Which third world country is still producing these gems I would have expected they would have updated to at least the disc wheels.

It's the Masters early Renault restoration factory in his back yard after he won power-ball the other week. It's cool isn't it!

    Hi,

I bought a set of the "bas de caisse" both left and right in stainless from Melun Retro Passion in June this year. They arrived within a week.

    DJ-750s info bore fruit.
My French speaking friend had e-mailed the company on my behalf.
My French is non-existent, but even I could see that this is an excellent source of bits and pieces.Anyone doing a resto should keep them in mind.
    Thanks , DJ.

I have used Melun Retro Passion, they are great, brought lots over the years, Denis the owner does speak English, you can always email and sent pics of what you want, I have done that a couple of times, no need to speak French. They are planning an English version of the website I understand.
    See you in Forbes?
