    Default My New R10S

    Hi All,
Out of the blue on September 30 I received an SMS from Brian (Potenz) offering me his "barn find" 10S to fund a new stink hot motor for his R8. I couldn't reply quick enough! Didn't even feel the need to haggle, I just wanted the car - 120,000 miles from new, full history and documentation, rebuilt original engine and Brian even rebuilt the brakes. I picked it up last friday and have driven it all weekend and to work this week. That little engine just sings above 4000rpm! I have the original 4.5 inch wheels which im going to get reconditioned so I just fitted my spare set of fat wheels and tyres off my other 10, which ive attached a pic or two aswell.

Congratulations! I'm jealous you are a fleet owner!
Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone............

That's the colour my 10s was, bowel burst brown. Pity I had to send mine to scrap.

Good for you Anthony, great to see another Classic Renault saved from the grave. Brian loved that car, goes like a rocket I'm told. So hopefully we will see it and/or the white one at the All French Day 'Seaview High School' 19th October 2014' Yes ??

    Cheers mate

    Hi Phil,

The 10S needs a bit of lovin' but not too much work thankfully. Brian was torn between letting it go and building his new engine but I reckon he made the right choice!
I'm in Clare for a wedding on the day of the All French Day but I will make an effort to go on a sunday drive with the rest of the Renault hoons at some point.

    Cheers.
