Thats been on Ebay for the past month or so.

I think its a little over priced hence no bids.

You could try to sneak it in but don't turn it on, that way you may get away with it.

In the first instance, you need to paint a full sized copy and when she gets used to seeing it around the place, replace it with the original

If you don't have a stash of coins in an old ice cream container, I cant help you with the money. One needs to plan ahead and have contingencies.

I have a double sided one of these I restored, including the electrics some time ago. It is still sitting in the bathroom of my shed to be sometime put up on an inside wall of my shed. Mine is made to be mounted on the side of a pole, but if I did this inside the shed it would take up too much room as it is about 5'x 4', and would jut out into my ever decreasing workspace.

Some have said about mounting outside, but the council were already worried about giving me permission for my "oversize" shed, that I might operate a business out of it. I don't need to give them ammunition or advertise to others of my hobby. Although theft of old Renaults I expect is at an alltime low.

I paid significantly less for my sign.

I have a battered steel one retrieved from Borgelts in Adelaide about 30 years ago, no lights though and it was free at the time.

I'd love the one on ebay but $1200 is stretching it. Hmm. Maybe I should contact the seller and offer "significantly less"....'

Hope all well with the Moores.

    Cheers

    Hi Alan

Make your mount so that the sign can be stored against the wall and swing out for display

I have one of the seventies style ones all complete with lights and to be pole mounted ex Tasmania.

Mrs Lin did not speak for four days over this, my comment of putting it in the lounge wall seemed just that bit too much for her.
