Default R17 front disc brake specs

I am fitting r17 front disc brakes to my second R12. Before i assemble everything i want to check if the rotors still have life in them.
    I don't have an r17 repair manual.

What are the disc wear tollerances?

Off the top of my rapidly thinning head, the original was 20mm thick, and minimum was 19mm, although most ventilated discs allow 1mm off each side. Often the figures are stamped into the outer edge of the disc.

    Hi Ian,
I have a new pair of high quality German discs,
may also have a pair of used - i will need to check thickness etc.
May have a 1.4 head gasket if you are having trouble sourcing one.

    Let me know if interested.
    Cheers, Steve
