Default Duster Ute on the way

Renault will be showing a new Duster Pickup ( Ute ) at the October Paris Salon. It wil be available in a single or dual cab version and also with a recreational trim being aimed at both tradesmen and private owners.

It is going to be sold in Europe as a Dacia and elsewhere as a Renault. It is particularly aimed at the South American market.

The European cars will be built in Renault factories in Turkey and Morocco.

Surely there's a market here for these little jiggers?

I want one too. (To go with a Kangoo ZE. Sigh, we don't get any good Renault commercials here. )

I've started looking at utes, but I don't think I could hold out for another 3 or 4 years on the faint hope that it might come to Oz.

That's interesting. I can report that there are plenty of "Renault" Dusters on the road in Lima in Peru.

    Thanks Gerry.

Dusters are very popular in Europe they are everywhere, would be a good seller here in OZ at the right price you would think (?)
