Default R10 with Gordini rear end listed in for sales.

    Hello all,
I have just listed my R10 with Gordini rear end and a heap of R8 and R10 parts in the For Sale section. Grab a rust free 10.

Were moving and it all needs to go before the crusher moves in.

    Thanks,
    Paul.

Interesting, I'm seriously considering putting 12 months of work on my R10S in the bin if the body has very little rust.

Tough call Christian, you've done so much to yours now. I think it would be a shame to bail out now but I can see the temptation ...
    cheers,

I just don't think mine is ever going to be right, so mush metal has been welded into it so there is going to be a bit of filler required. I'm already after different front guards and I think I'm missing some chrome parts. I'd be able to part out, give away the bits I don't need.

    Christian,
I feel your pain. My 404 is in the same boat as your 10. There has been a few offers of better bodies, but none have really been better than what I've got. As a good mate said the other day, at least you will know what you've got when it is finished and more importantly you'll be able to say you did it.
Hopefully for you this one turns out to be a good'n.
    Cheers,

    Dano

    Christian,
I don't really want to say it, But "I told you so !!!" I took a lot of flack for what I said. But I have seen projects get lost for a lot less. I think if it is a good body it is always worth the wait.

Cars are there to enjoy and drive, Like the Fregate project car. He will be driving it soon, and a fantastic job, which he has enjoyed.

I hope you get your car and enjoy driving it soon.

Is yours a rectangular or round headlight R10? & which chrome bits? Peter

Ray, I know, there have been so many times I've wondered if I had made the right decision to repair the body I have. Luckily it hasn't cost me much money, just time. If I do scrap it its not a total loss, my welding and sheet metal work has improved a lot.

Peter, mine is a square eye. I'm currency mission the badge and strip from the front. May not need it though.

I'll see what I can do about the badge & strip. I think that the freight for guards probably means that you're better off sourcing them closer to home though.

(loathing the keyboard, I have been an early adopter of pen & voice input in its place; I can always tell which input method I used by the style of the "typos" generated - 'currency mission' indeed!- sounds like a voice input "speako" to me)

    cheers! Peter

Its from posting on my phone whilst laying in bed and not really paying attention to what the auto correct is doing.

If I don't end up getting the car Paul listed some front guards, by far the closest pair yet.

You really wouldn't want to push the wrong button and crush the lower car.

I will shortly be the proud owner of one and a half R10s. I could maybe get both on the shed if I put them on their sides and slid them in. If anyone needs any doors I'll have 2.75 sets and only really need one.

Looks like it, anyone need one? I'll be moving the radiator to the front as I had originally planed.

The R10 has been picked up and is on its way to Sydney with spare panels and bumpers for those who wanted them.
