Default 03 Scenic rear windows curious activity

Hi all my 03 scenic rear windows will not operate from the door switches.
They will operate with the dash switches though. Have set something wrong?

Isn't there an override switch on the drivers side? (or am I thinking of my old S2 Laguna rather than the wifes' old Scenic).

I think there is a window lock rocker switch somewhere on the driver's side which you might accidentally have set to lock?
Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone............

The rear door switches on mine dont work well either, so it might not be something you have done.

I dont have any friends and the dog isn't allowed to open the rear window herself, so like some of the other aspects of owning a +10 year old car ...Whatever.

You met our dog Jessie right, when you picked it up? We'll she mastered the nack of opening which ever rear window she wanted in that car! It was so funny when she first did it! Looking at it, it's almost designed for a dog to use.

    Is the window lock on?
Otherwise it will probably be dirty contacts as mentioned by Young for old pug.

    Thanks Guys
Ill pull the switches and get all the dog detritous out.
The lock works as it should on the drivers side dash and so do the switches.

Strange that when I bought tha car last august they where good oh well heres hoping its an easy fix.

I dont have dogs cats or kids and spent 3 days cleaning all their deposits when I first got the car so maybe Ive pushed more muck into them trying to vlean the externals.

    Will keep all posted

    Regards Don
