    G'day All,
I have just joined this group as after 30 odd years I am back to having a '83 20 TS.
Now the first thing I need is workshop manual. I see some downloads, but only for a 21.
Can anyone steer me in the right direction.
I am in the SE suburbs of Melbourne ( Keysborough.)
    Cheers, Duffster

Thanks for that, unfortunately mine is manual. I may have got onto a second hand Haynes if it hasn't been sold.

I've got a factory manual you can have for postage cost. Still packed in a box some where after a house move but I will find it in a week. PM your address.

It is good to hear about another 20TS still being on the road. I have a blue 1979 series 1 20TS. I have owned the car since February 1984 and to date have covered 330,000 kms. I have driven 280,000 of those kms and the car is still used as a daily driver. Being an early model, it originally came a 4 speed manual but I converted it to a 5 speed after it had done 300,000kms. It remains a great car, a model that seems to be often overlooked by Renault fans, and still going strong.

It would be good to know just how many 20s are still on the road in Australia.

I owned a R20 MK 2 for 5 years in the 90s before the dreaded metal cancer got into her rear wings.
have a look at my profile for a pick. Beautiful quality built body and very comfortable tourer.
    congratulations on your purchase.

I had a 16 which I loved, until some wank came over my side of he road and took the side off.On the bright side if he had been
further over it could have been worse.Have some happy memories of Mayfield when I was at the marine school in the swingin' sixties.

Posted this morning. The manual only has the 4 speed gearbox however I do have a service note that adds information about 5th gear. I'll copy it and send it by email if you need it. Let me know.

Don't worry about it, I'm happy it is going to an R20 owner. I do have to say it has been wet at some point but it is still quite usable just the bottom of the pages are a bit crinkled. I bought it at a swap meet back before internet days for someone who had an R20 and they only had a Haynes manual but before I could give it to them they sold their R20. I had another manual for myself. But since that my R20 disappeared in a heap of rust and eventually the crushers. But not before doing 600,000 kilometres. Engine, clutch and gearbox untouched, but by then needing a full rebuild. I love R30's and R20,s both great cars. Perhaps one day I'll get another but it is unlikely.

Hi Rob, the manual arrived. Thank you very much. Nearly fell over when I saw the postage.

Problem with indicator switch plugs on the 20 TS....like one won't come out. Is there a secret? Newbie-dsc06913.jpgNewbie-dsc06914.jpg

Off topic but my wife went out to look at another car (drunk cleaned her up and wrote the Corolla off) I picked out 2 Corollas and an Astra to look at....she came home with a Pug 206, my question is, should I file for a divorce or buy her a bunch of flowers?
