Default Fuege and R20Ts engine compatability

    Hello all
I have sourced a water pump for Lachlan's Fuego but the seller says it is for a R20TS only and will not fit the Fuego.
I would have thought that the engine would be the same J6R Douvrin engine in both models?
    Can anyone confirm?
    Regards
    Luke

    You will find differences.
The conrod bearings for example have their tangs arranged differently.

Anyway, I'd guess that it will fit the block, but will be too proud for the small amount of room between the block and the radiator and will hit the radiator.
That was my experience with a R25 pump in a fuego.

    Thanks Jo
yeah we have a R25 pump in there at the moment and it is very tight! It was an old one from one of my early J7T engines - as a temp fix until a new one arrives. Iw ill seek out a 'proper' Fuego pump. Caravelle should have one.
