    Default update....

    G'day,

estate agent/auctioneer knows nothing.... 'cept that nothing is complete, there are two bodies and there are lots of parts.....

No idea what model/s but he believes from the look of them that they are 50's style.

    cheers,
    Bob

    Yeah,

I'll take a look, we'll need to wait until .... the day of the clearing sale to see though. I will NOT be buying them though. We already have 8 lots of registration a year coming into the house, there's no way I'm getting anything else.

Why can't the agent just take a photo on his phone (or ask the owner to do so) and send it through?

There not going to tell you that ..... They know people will turn up for a look when there not there otherwise. They generally give the road............ and you look for signs on the day (like garage sales, you never give the exact address or you'll have poeple knocking on your door at 5:00am in the morning).

I was considering going for drive, it was almost worth it just for another trip to see the Beaufort fire station and Beaufort Motors buildings again, but the agent makes it all too hard. Whoever does go will either be pleasantly surprised, or slightly disappointed. I hope the vendor isn't paying too much commission, given the agent seems to be doing his best to put people off. It really isn't hard to take a few key photos of key items up for sale, especially since he seems to be being bothered by all and sundry. The only winner will likely be Telstra.....

Although, Shane - you can usually find the exact address by use of the white pages, and also get a phone number. Certainly in this case.

It takes days to lay out a clearing sale. I have often turned up unannounced in the days before the sale to have a look. No one has ever refused me access. You'll be able to find it easily.

No, it's just the winter has set in and the frost makes it more difficult for Google to focus. Trust me Beaufort can get very Cold at this time of year, memories of mushroom hunting whilst crunching frosted grass.

Google earth probably won't show much anyway because it is often years out of date. The view of my place is at least 4 years old. If the cars were in a shed at the time then you won't get to see them now.
