I believe the 'white whatever' is a Citroen Ami 6.

When you see one in the flesh they are quite a chic looking car and very French.

They are seriously gorgeous actually. Totally French and a best seller in their day with a fabulous pedigree. I'd almost kill/divorce for one.

I don't understand the photo though. There is almost nothing on an Ami that could go wrong.

The Déesse has all the characteristics of one of those objects fallen from another universe that fed the mania for novelty in the eighteenth century and a similar mania expressed by modern science fiction: the Déesse is first and foremost the new Nautilus.

Yes - I'd suggest the photo has the vehicles the wrong way around! Right now it is like a sidevalve Morris Minor helping out a Renault R8.

All jokes aside, it would be great if someone loved a Juvaquatre enough to actually restore a wreck or import one. There are very few 1930s Renaults in Oz.

Righteo then, let's pass the hat around and all chip in for a AF community Juva wreck for MG to restore. Has to be a panelvan though with Aussie Frogs sign writing on its sides and will be displayed at French car shows and hog all the trophies! Now there's a plan. Anyone in?

    John,
You find the car, and I'll kick in with some $$ towards the purchase price.

RCCV had one given to us last year. It was in bacchus Marsh. Rust was so bad it's either still there or crushed.

Nup. Sedan. There's a van at Flynns wrecking yard in Cooma. At least there was last time I was there (about 1980). Should be still there.
