Beautiful! Even a picture of me and 2 pictures of ALPEEN in there. That's me on my knees in front of the engine

    Hi
Would that be behind the engine, rather than in front ?
Rear engined cars cause such confusion

    Great pics thanks

One for the historians, just been looking through my collection of Motor Sport magazines and found this one of 3698HK76 on the front cover. Darniche and Mahe on their way to winning Morocco in 1973. 66 Starters, 12 finishers according to the records.

The same car that Bob Watson drove in the Don Capasco Rally in Canberra 1974.

I'm just a whiz at searching, and the new hood will be finished soon.

Buyer beware. I once considered an A110 from Mexico that was on eBay and it looked really good. Trouble is they would not supply any photos of under the car which made me suspicious. I contacted Nigel Russell in NZ who has plenty of experience with these and he advised never give them any money prior to personally inspecting and taking possession of the car. Turned out he was right - the whole thing was a scam. It was only revealed as such when I offered to go to Mexico, look at the car and if satisfied, hand over a bank cheque in the name of the owner. They never got back to me with a copy of the owners certificate whose name the bank cheque would be made out to. Prior to that, they offered to use an intermediary to handle the deposit - Moneybookers - from then I smelt a rat and of course nothing happened.

Folks, I realise most of you are traditionalists,

But I want to through in my candidate for a fantastic looking A110, Migel from Spain has built this absolutely beautiful specimen. From a throw away and abused rally car.

**nicely done (although I am no fan of that much offset at the front - bloody 13s - I remain an enthusiast for 14s)

I don't know about the majority but my own view with most things is that how the manufacturer did it provides just a starting point for how it might better be

mind you, nicely integrated though the spanish one's changes are, I rather find the original unwidened, unspoilered berlinette to be a pretty design as is

    cheers! Peter**
