    Default Scenic on eBay

    Found this Scenic on eBay,
I'm not interested in buying it but it is quite interesting.

    Anyone know anything about it.

Owned by a formula-series driver who supercharged it for a bit more towing capacity. Regularly seen at Sandown and Phillip Island historic meets.

Supercharged? Why would you want to shorten the life of the transmission any quicker?

Cheap enough! Plastic mudguard should be easy to replace. Can you source/fit one, David? What model is that? Never seen one with air scoop in the bonnet. Is that a turbo perhaps, judging by the contraption on the front of the engine. Otherwise looks like a Privilege model, leather and all. Very nice condition.I might be interested, but wary of 'performance' versions that usually get thrashed.

    I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.
Mikee says its been supercharged and used to tow a race car. The transmission has only minutes to live, not to mention driveshafts.
The body looks easy, panels are no problem.

Would make a good donor car for anyone wanting to pull a horse float with an RX4.
