    Default Lots of bits Dauphine/4cv

I have acquired a lot of new old stock of the above. Most identified but I need help with others as they come to the top of the pile.
    Lets start with
    King pins labelled 1813/6
Bell housing (sort of) with swing axle mounts ect has 2AF cast in.
    Crankshaft 3541583

All this will become available soon, except what I need for myself!

There'll be a few of us in Oz possibly interested in some of those parts once New Year celebrations are over! Now, we have a 4CV Muster at Easter in Junee, so maybe a bulk shipment could be organised to Junee as orders come in? It'd be altogether a nightmare to send individual bits across Australia, but I imagine we could be clever about it as lots of us will be in Junee.

I'll be very interested as the list evolves.

    Thanks for letting us know.

Thanks John, in the past I have found that shipping bits to Oz is not bad at all, and people have commented that post packets from here are often cheaper than interstate. Having said that NZ Post have upped their prices a bit recently.

Ah, maybe no heroic organisation needed then. Thanks for that.

Could you post photos of the unidentified material? I can't imagine the "bell housing sort of...."!

It would take close on a thousand photos to cover all this! I have yet to receive it all. The stock list so far is 4 A4 pages, and just been advised of another 4 or 5 cartons of new stuff "new oil pump rear axle bearings some timkens and lots of gaskets boxes of rings, gaskets rocker shafts clutch thrust bearing springs and lots of other bits and bobs"

    Hi Kiwi,
When it all gets sorted I'll be looking at the following Dauphine bits:
    Speedo cable
    Handbrake cable
    Thrust bearing
    Engine bearings, valves etc.
A Dauphine G steering wheel if there is one (hopeful I know)
    Brake master Cylinders
Rubbers for front and back Windows
    Interior floor coverings

Let me know if any of this bobs up and I'm also keen to see your list.
    Cheers...Paul

Wow. THAT sort of collection! And you are 200 km north of Auckland - I should pass through Auckland in late Feb but won't have time to slip up and have a look unfortunately.

So Rhys, what is the project for which you might want some of the bits? It all sounds awfully bog-standard for your taste. Pity there're no Estafette transaxle parts in there. cheers! Peter

John, that's a bit sad, and probably before we have moved south of Auckland.
Peter, it needed saving from being disposed piecemeal, and because of AF I figured I could get the stuff to people who have need. Amongst it there are some bits I hope never to need, but should get my hands on "just in case"

No Peter, not at this moment, but it is very close to being collected. And not all the stuff is for those models, and of course there are some bits which have been used in slightly rarer Renault based cars
