Default R8 and r10 parts going cheap in adelaide

Hi guys .due to an imminent move i have to clear out a fair bit of usefull parts.there is a rolling r8 shell which i used as a donor.the inner guards and all panels have been removedand i would say it is only good for the good r10 gearbox ,brakes. Front suspention complete with brakes and 3 doors.fuel tank etc are all there.the sills appear to be good.i would like this to be removed complete, free to someone willingto take it.

Also 1397 and 1251 motors for sale cheap
also r10 gearbox complete with rear suspensionand brakes
heaps of other parts.call me for more info 0430 924 492 cheers brian

    Hey Brian

Any chance you might have a set of Gordini rims I can only fit 5" if I'm going to stick to the new rules?

    Cheers

    Hi Brian,
do you still have any of the above, or has it all gone to the scrapper?
hope not, I'll take the roller, and consider the trans and engines.
I wish I'm on here more often......

    G'day Brian,
happy new year to you and your wife.
Cheers for the R8 'roller' and the various parts. A little gold mine there and well worth the effort to collect from you. I was suprised to see the original sunroof, I've never seen one before. Hope you have found the rims and bracket returned to your carport.
By the way, my little boy loved the blue beast in the shed, and he still thinks I should get one like it, or at least paint my 750 in the same colour.
    Cheers,

What exactly was an "original" sunroof?

Is anything left for scrounging or has it all gone, out of interest?

    Cheers

Its a slide back canvas top covering most of the roof. i may be wrong on the "original", I haven't seen one before. I can upload a photo if you like. I won't be needing much of the shell itself, so if anyone in SA is serious enough to do something with it, i could chop the roof for it to be taken away.
I'm not sure if Brian has anything else to go. he was keeping some things for himself, so I think I took away everything he wanted to be rid of.
    cheers,

The only one I've seen was Bruce Porter's old car in Adelaide. Any cracks in the roof?

haven't looked closely at it yet, but appears to be in excellent working condition considering. Not sure on the roof, but there was no obvious cracks. I'm hoping to get some time over the weekend to start pulling down the parts I want off the car, so might have to have a look at it then.

Brian, happy new year to you too.
