    Hi John
Just returned from Bali and noticed your request. I have a stack of doors I can check if you still want.

Many thanks Wayne. Much appreciated. I have a pair on the way from Geraldton, but will remember....

This is the second time the LHS has been written off since 1973, so I've used my stash. It is partly the price you pay for using classic cars instead of looking at them!

    Thanks to those who responded.

Doors have been located so all is well there.

    Now for the trim strips....

Wayne, many thanks. I forgot to ask whether by any chance you have a set of trim strips for those doors that you could part with, and of course for the front mudguard.

    Cheers

    Hi Wayne,

Are you still out there? I'm keen to have a look in case there's anything you don't want as I wouldn't mind stashing a couple in a warm dry place.

Do you have any front mudguard trims?

    Cheers

    G'day JW,
I have LH & RH doors, complete (R10). I can have a look at the chrome strips on the w-e if you want them (although I suspect the front door strip might be bent...the car is lying on that side....fell off the rotisserie, at the front. What about door cards and the other trims on top...do you want them? And winders etc?
    Cheers,
    Mark.

    Hi Mark,

    Having a sale are we?

All I need is a few doors - Peter from Geraldton is kindly donating a couple but I've decided after this I should stock up again as I've used all the spares I ever had!! Don't need door trim strips at all, just one R8 front mudguard strip.

Can you sit on them while I sort things out at this end? I reckon I should hang up a full spare set of four while there are still some around, so I might be very glad to have them later on. R8 = R10 except for the holes for the strips, which are slightly different in position. Internals not needed.

I've now rebuilt two rear wheel bearing/disc rotor/calliper bracket assemblies in a week or so (in and amongst things like my job...). Manual says "not for the faint hearted" and that's a slight exaggeration but it is a bit fiddly. If you were used to curious British devices, I guess it would seem alien.

If it's the same as an R10 strip I have one in pristine condition, yours if you want it..
Every day when I wake up I reach up in the darkness with my eyes shut and if I cannot feel anything that resembles a wooden lid I know it will be a good day. No lid today.

    Thanks for that.

Different unfortunately. But modifiable possibly as the R10 strip was longer (but straighter).

May I keep it in mind if other options fail?
