Default Anyone have a part # for R17 brake pads

Have to replace Front pads, Ken has none. Anyone have a part number that I could shop around with?

There's a fair chance that the rotors are rooted, too.

Any person supplying a sucessful lead for either will win my undying gratitude and/or a fine pasta meal and a glass of a vibrant, if not somewhat cheeky, red wine should they care to drop by...

    Hi Peter

You can get the rotors machined, I think the minimum size is 19mm.

As for the disc pads they can be found on ebay.

    Disc Pads

    Mr. P,
If you get hold of the Bendix book at Repco or similar, and take a sample with you,. You cam match it to the picture and have them ordered for you. As in the pictures from Ebay in Col's link they are R12, R16, R5, and on and on and on. They may even have them in "premium". You could always try Bendix direct, t see what they have on the shelf.

Yep, R12 pads. If you call Eurocare, they'll source and ship to you.

I recently got discs for my R17 from my local "extra good, supply all the local mechanics" parts place. They were Bembo brand or what ever the brand is that they fit on the Megane Sport. Only $70 the pair if I remember correctly. Had to wait two days for delivery. I can usually get ,most stuff for my R15,17 from them, although occasionally not, eg top radiator hose. But they let me go through their collection of hoses to find two that fitted when joined with stainless tube. Geraldton must have such a place being so far from the capital.

The disc pad code is DB113. Available in several materials and grades around $80.

If you need rotors, they are on fleabay.

    Great stuff guys.

Located a set of pads in WA and they'll be winging their way to me tomorrow.

Also seem to fit an early model Honda Integra.

    All the best
