    Default Coolant For 405 SRDT

    Hello can anyone help me by telling me what sort of coolant to put in my 405 SRDT Cheers

    50/50 glycol and distilled water or the premixed gylcol so long as it is 50% glycol, thats what the 505 SRTD gets

    Hi-Whatever you use make sure you flush the system properly as if they are incompatible thn the 'packman' will chew up the Alloy.
    I have used Tectaloy for many years [10 plus]when I found out that it was significantly superior ,in tests, to G.M.'s 'Special Brew.
    In speaking to a Tectaloy guy he suggested never to mix one bottle of the Tectaloy with another as their may be some change that may make the pair incompatible..
    I would assume that if the batch no. was the same that would override the above.

    You could use Peugeot's coolant should wish.When using a cleaner & flushing I always remove the thermostat so as you do not have to get the engine up to full temp. & then not having to risk any damage while flushing with cold water.
