    Default 205 GTI Sensor question

    Hi guys

I am trying to find out what the engine sensor in the attached pictures is called as apparently I need a new/working one.
    Can anyone help?

    Thanks very much

I think that is the cold start injector, not a sensor. Wait for someone else to confirm though. Why do you want it replaced?

Apparently it is flashing up a warning on the dash. Sorry to be a bit vague but a mate is wokring on the car and I don't have all the details yet.

    Thanks for responding.

Just an air valve that speeds up the idle when the air con is turned on.

I've had this unplugged without any warning lights showing up.

I had a surprise myself when the "STOP!" warning light came on because the car overheated (coolant temp was on already, that is why I assume the stop light had something to do with it). Both lights went out at the same time when engine cooled down.
Perhaps your warning light system is not picking it up?
