    Throw it in the bin.

Find someone who has a good second hand bosch unit. You can get parts for them and they seem far more reliable.

I have had nothing but trouble with mitsubshi ones. My auto elec wont even touch them.

If you can be bothered doing a recon this company has all the parts. http://www.jasoceania.com.au/pdf/Alt...er%20Parts.pdf

Bearings are standard, usually 6203, from a bearing supplier.

I'd chuck it and fit a Holden Bosch which are a better alternator and easy to replace. Around $30 at a DIY wrecker. Buy two,or three, it will still work out cheaper than fixing the Mitsubishi.

Are these mitsubishi ones that bad? When the bosch one on the mi16 failed I put a mitsubishi one off a 306 on. Mainly because of higher amperage. Seems to be doing a good job still.
2011 Renault Koleos manual petrol, yes it's boring, but not as boring as:

It's not that the Mitsubishi ones are good or bad. Bosch are good, tough and easy and cheap to get parts for.
