srdt 405 starter question

    Default srdt 405 starter question

    can anyone please advise as to whether a petrol starter can replace the diesel starter cause the car i have just bought aint got one, just some bolts sitting on the airbox, as long as it will do the job for the short term i'd be happy, thanks and regards fisher

    Aint got one?Did it come with holes in the floor to pedal like Fred Flinstone?

    Petrol and diesel are very different and not interchangable (not even temp). We have diesel starters in stock.

    You asked if petrol and diesel were interchangable and I answered no there not and that we have the correct one in stock
    Please read it again.

    Default Flintstone 405

    I'm surprised. My experience has been that 405s don't seem to rust with any enthusiasm. It is their other bad habits (free fall headlining, self munching rear wheel bearings *&&^^% heater cores etc...

    Good to see were all learning something new!
