    Default 505 V's Kangaroo

My daughter hit a kangaroo on her way to work this morning. Minor panel damage, but does anyone know if new 505 headlights are available either oem or aftermarket?

Unfortunately, the kangaroo came off second best.

I got a couple of really good ones from Pugwreck at few weeks back. Europarts have new ones, or did have then. Regards Graham

I did the same with my 505 when accelerating up from Colo River and a fair sized roo leapt off a ledge with perfect timing to die instantly as the head took out my right light and the tail , the left, while the body pushed the bumper a fair way in, about a foot or so, and the body was dumped right across the other side of the road from the impact. Drove back to Singleton with one headlight working although the glass was smashed. A bit hairy for sure.
I was lucky to have a spare set of lights at home and when I removed the bumper I found I could separate the inner metal channel from the plastic/rubber dressing and then I got a sledge hammer and a big wood block and slammed the metal straight. It went back together well with hardly a scratch on the bumper. There were of course a few telltale signs but from 10 feet it looked pretty good.

Sounds like you are a Ten Foot Penelbeater.
There are very few of them in existence.
