    Default 206 steering wheel question

    Gday guys,

The steering wheel in my 206 gti is really starting to look terrible and is becoming annoying to hold due to the rips and tears in the leather. Simply, I just want to replace it.

My question relates to the difference between the later model wheels and the earlier ones. To my knowledge Peugeot fitted the newer steering wheels to the multiplex cars which I think started in 2002? (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Now my car is a pre multiplex (2001 model) car with the earlier wheel. Does anyone know if there is any reason why I could not fit a wheel out of a later model car?
    Are the airbags the same?
    Will it fit properly?
Will the centrepiece fit? etc etc

Any knowledge at all is bound to help!
    Cheers

    G'day,
you could have it recovered. See Helen, pinky206cc. She will probably be at the AFCD, you can't miss her car. Could be cheaper than a new one.
