    Default Mags for 405 SRDT

Thinking about replacing the steel rims on the 405 SRDT (Series 2) with Mags. Does anyone have any info on whether or not the Mi16 rims are suitable (stud pattern, offset etc)?
    Cheers

Mi16 mags will definitely bolt straight on. Make sure you find a set of 15's.
Should be able to use the same wheel bolts too.

    Default Tyre size

    Hi "Frog",
Thnx for your reply; it sounds as though you've been through the exercise. The series 2 405 SRDT has 14" steels, with 185/65/14 tyres, so I presume that to fit the car with 15" rims, a lower profile tyre would be required...a 60 instead of 65 perhaps. Also, I recall the Mi16 rim was built for a wider tyre than the 185 (I'm sure I had a set of Mich 205 trx); would a 195 suit and still fit ok on the car, assuming a 185 will not suit the rim? In summary, my presumption is a set of 195/60/15 would work out ok on the 15" mag, what do you think?
    Regards,
    Simon

    Hi Simon
MI16 alloys both 14"x6" and 15"x 6" will bolt straight on and look and feel great on a SRi
If you run 14's 195/60 x14" is the go, 15" stick with 195/55 x 15"tyres to maintain correct rolling diameter as used by Peugeot.
When you purchase the alloys get the wheel bolts as well as they flat seat mounted with a washer as opposed to the steel rims with a taper seat wheel bolt (black not chrome).
If no wheel bolts expect to pay $80-$90 a set from UK or about $7.40 ea from EAI.

    Default Tyres

    Thnx Alain,
I've been doing the calcs and see that the 195/60 is about 19mm or 3.2% larger diameter than standard, where as the 195/55 is just slightly smaller than the standard by about 2mm. Another good match would be 185/60/15, but I think that may be too narrow for the Mi16 (15 x 6)rim. That's my only remaining question.
    Regards
    Simon
