Just want to let you all know that Magic has recently moved his workshop from Woolloongabba to the Gold Coast, but still serves Brisbane with a free pickup and drop off service where he gives you a loan car for as long as it takes to fix yours. The new details are:

    European Mechanical Specialists
    3/23 Brendan Drive, Nerang
    P (07) 5596 6664
    M 0432 493 376
    E
    [email protected]

I have a 307 diesel that had a string of issues that I had thrown lots of money at when I lived in Melbourne and when it broke down on they drive up to Brisbane it was the last straw. I called Magic intending to just get the car going and sell it, but he assured me that these are very good cars, the biggest problem with them in Australia is that most mechanics don't fully understand them and can do more harm than good when "fixing" them.

I gave them the car and was very impressed by how knowledgeable he and Malcolm were, and after fixing everything up properly (and for the price quoted) I was convinced that the car can be reliable and fun to drive after all. In the 2 years I’ve had the 307 it has never driven as well as it does now- they transformed a lemon that I wanted to get rid of into a car that I love owning.

I can’t recommend these guys highly enough- if you live in Brissie or the Gold Coast and own a French car give them a try!

Magic may still be contactable through FB. If you are specifically keen for him to look at your car, PM me if you can't find him there.

I believe he's left Australia for good. I picked up some rims for a fellow frogger and got stuffed around bigtime. Every thing was packed up ready to go. The staff were all con men with no regard for customer service.

    Toodle pip I say....

    Via the aussiefrogs App
....now watch a Peugeot turn into a corner!

That was probably inter-club rivalry (of the 1% variety).

No it's to the the tune of $15k if the thread can be believed.

I wonder if the Aust harley Club has links to overseas clubs.
