    Default Peugeot 406 bulb replacements

    G'day everyone.
We are going to change the headlight bulbs (the low beam H7) and the fog H1. I am currently choosing between the Osram Night Breaker Plus (55w) and the Philips Rally (80w). My question is, can the car take the 80w lamp without adding a relay or do I need to install one ?
Has anyone tried any of them ?

PS: the car still has its original bulbs which are Osrams but we are tempted with the higher wattage of the Philips.

    Cheers,

My worry with the 80W bulbs would be more to do with the extra heat damaging the polycarbonate headlight housing
